"I came to HH to volunteer. I also socialized with families and had some good old fashion clean fun. The atmosphere I was in was one that I have never been before. It was not a party with alcohol, loud music and beer pong tables but rather one of exchanging religious thoughts and explaining to others how blessed we are. That hour and a half was the biggest impact I had spiritually during my whole project. On a personal note, this experience has opened my eyes in the sense that by, 'helping others you truly are helping yourself.' We've all heard that statement... But how many of us have allowed it to marinate into our minds and lives? How many of us have truly experienced the full satisfaction of giving ourselves, our time to impact another individual? I challenge everyone to do this with a pure heart and see the blessings it opens up for you."

"We stayed at your place last night. The funeral was very nice and things couldn't have been any better for my sister and brothers. Just wanted to thank you and the staff, especially the young college student. He was very helpful. Every time I come to Houston to see my youngest daughter who is in the Army, I will stop by and chat with all of you. Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your hospitality you showed us."
